Queensland’s leading harness racing sire A Rocknroll Dance ended the year on a high note with winners right along the eastern seaboard.
The Rocknroll Hanover double millionaire sired a winning double at Albion Park with Rocknroll Mama NZ (1:53.9) and Betty’s Gold Class (1:55.6).
Bonnie’s Dance (1:54.1) also rung up number one at ‘The Creek’, while Rocktime notched his second win at Redcliffe.
A Rocknroll Dance was also represented by winners in NSW, Victoria and WA. They include Dance Away (1:53.2), Dance Addition (1:56.4), Bologna NZ (1:57.4), Dance Baby Dance (1:57.6) and Rakajed NZ.
A member of the Somerset Farms’ sire roster that includes the exciting, young Captaintreacherous horse Catch The Fire, A Rocknroll Dance enjoyed his best ever season in Australia with 168 individual winners and progeny earnings of almost $4.6million.
He finished sixth on the all-aged list in respect of winners and seventh on prizemoney.
