Unbeaten filly Ahrrythmia (Vincent) turned in one of the best harness racing performances of her career with a narrow but courageous win in the Group 2 $100,000 APG Vicbred Super Series Final for two year old fillies at Melton on Saturday evening.

Second favourite behind her stable mate Pre Eminent Ahrrythmia settled back in the field from the inside of the second row. By contrast Pre Eminent went straight to the front without much effort and driver Ryan Sanderson was able to rate the filly to perfection.
After racing three wide Ahrrythmia finally settled outside the leader but she had clearly done more work than Pre Eminent.
Pre Eminent almost stole the race on straightening as he lead extended to nearly five metres. However vigorously urged on by Cameron Hart Ahrrythmia balanced up and in a driving finish she just snatched victory on the line from Pre Eminent with stablemates My Bettor Half and Hilltop Blossom giving Emma Stewart the first four placings.
ARRHYTHMIA NOV 22 REPLAY
Ahrrythmia is raced by Team Zavitsanos and is from the lightly raced mare Jo An Leonie who has left the smart mare Jo An Jo who went 1.51.7.

Ahrrythmia has now won all her seven appearances for just over $89,000 in prize money. She gives the impression that she will be a strong Oaks proposition for next season.
Cameron Hart was suitably impressed with the performance
She was awesome tonight. We had to do it the tough way. She was incredible, she had to be the best horse in the race. I can’t take too much credit, she wanted it a bit more. It’s great when you can get on these young babies and show the fight they do. It makes our job a lot easier.
You have to try to put them into the race and when they’ve got a will to win like this girl you get them into the race and they’ll do the rest at the finish. Danny Zavitsanos has been a great supporter of mine for a lot of years now and whenever I can get a big race win for him it’s a great pleasure. And to Emma and Clayton it’s always a privilege to come down and drive these great horses.
