Former trotting standout My High Expectations, who is now standing at Darren Reay’s Medowie Stud near Newcastle, provided the quinella pair, Gait With Grace and Northern Heights, in the two-year-old at the recent Albion Park midweek harness racing meeting.
Gait With Grace, a two-year-old filly, came from last and is now undefeated in two attempts, while Northern Heights has won twice from his four starts.
The three-year-old Dextrous Dexter, an older full brother to Gait With Grace, led throughout at Albion Park three days later.
The black gelding has won four races to date including his last three on end.
An Australasian Trotting Championship and multiple Group winning trotter, My High Expectations has a 50 percent winners-to-starters strike rate from his first crops.
The fully American bred stallion stands for the bargain basement fee of $1,400.
My High Expectations stands alongside the Inter Dominion champion and A. G. Hunter Cup winner Tiger Tara, the former NZ and Australian 2YO Colt of the Year and now highly successful sire Follow The Stars and Mach Three’s brilliant, young son My Chachingchaching at Medowie Lodge stud.
