The Queensland floods have affected many these past few days including the harness racing community.
Albion Park Harness Racing Club Chairman Brad Steele shared this photo of the Albion Park track under water yesterday.
Steele put out to Twitter the following message:
“The Creek remains underwater but our thoughts go out to all our industry participants impacted by this significant weather event. You have cared for and protected your animals, family and friends. We know many have had major damage to their training track, stables and fencing.”
The meeting at Albion Park on Tuesday has been abandoned and the scheduled meetings for this Friday and Saturday have been transferred to Redcliffe.
Itās getting a little scary now.
