The Alchin family have enjoyed success with their juvenile pacers this season and will be looking to continue that in futurity races over the next few days.
At Penrith on Thursday night brothers Rickie and Jarrod Alchin have starters engaged in Breeders Challenge Regional heats.
Rickie, who is known for breaking in horses, has two starters aimed at the qualifiers including the unbeaten Beefy Benson in race nine.
The two-year-old by Well Said has won his two starts to date by margins of 11m and 13m, respectively.
Rickie also has last-start Newcastle winner Sugar For My Honey (Roll With Joe) aimed at a heat.
Meanwhile, Jarrod has My Ultimate Cobber in a heat also.
Both Rickie and Jarrod are well represented across the Breeders Crown finals at Melton, Victoria, on Saturday night also.
They have three starters each engaged in the Group 1 finals.
Rickieās Crown raid includes trotters Watts Up Majestic, Tough Love and King City.
Jarrod has Paris Kay as well as pacers My Ultimate Baxter and My Ultimate Skeeta.
