When New South Wales harness racing horseman Kevin Pizzuto made the decision to stand his Inter Dominion champion Tiger Tara at stud he decided to do a test run first.
Pizzuto bred Tiger Tara with three of his mares and the results have been remarkable.
Tiger Tara had his first starter at Newcastle last night and it became his first winner.
That was King Tiger who set a new two-year-old record at Newcastle when the colt ran away from his rivals in 1:53.9.
Watch the reply below:
Pizzutoās other two “test” foals from Tiger Tara are both fillies by the names of Tiger Tee and Tigerlicious.
Tiger Tee āhas been a trotter since the day she was bornā as Pizzuto said and has been impressive in her green trials and so too has Tigerlicious who is a pacer.
Tiger Tara, by Bettors Delight, had five live foals the following breeding season and another 11 in the 2020/21 season.
Tiger Tara is standing at Yirribee Pacing Stud.
