Potential buyers at Sunday’s APG Perth Yearling Sale are certain to pay close inspection to Lot 458, an outstanding Rock N Roll World filly offered by leading WA nursery Alwood Stud Farm.
A daughter of Highview Jackie (1:55.9 12 wins) the filly is a sister to Highview Heidi who is one of leading chances in the WA Sales Classic Final at Gloucester Park.
“She is a stunning filly,” said Allwood Stud Studmaster Michael Holtham.
Allwood Stud Farm has a draft of 30 yearlings in the Sale.
Another impressive individual is Lot 443, a Follow The Stars colt out of unraced mare From The Palace.
“This colt is an outstanding type,” Holtham said.
There is an air of anticipation around Lot 428, a colt by Rock N Roll World, according to Holtham.
“We’re very excited about this colt as he’s from of the best maternal families,” he said.
A son of unraced Bettors Delight mare Bonnie Stride, his second dam is the champion race mare Tailamade Lombo.
Tailamade Lombo has passed on her race track talent at stud leaving 10 winners including Aussie Made Lombo (Australian 2YO Pacing Filly of the Year).
Holtham said there is plenty to like about two client Lots in the Sale.
“A filly Lot 438 and a colt Lot 530 are sure to catch people’s attention,” he said.
Lot 438 is among 2019 Inter Dominion winner Ultimate Sniper’s first crop of yearling out of Elite Angel (1:56.7 12 wins) who is the dam of four winners.
Lot 530 is a son of Fly Like An Eagle and the Art Major mare Sienna Artiste whose granddam, Cerebrano, is the dam of multiple Group 1 winning mare Innocent Eyes.
