Conder resigns as chief stipe

Harness Racing Victoria Chairman of Stewards Neal Conder has tendered his resignation, which will take effect on May 29.

“Neal has been a valuable member of the HRV staff since January 2008 and has held the vital role of Chairman of Stewards since January 2014,” HRV CEO John Anderson said.

“Neal has been a respected member of the leadership team at HRV and he will be a loss to the organisation.

“Neal has held several positions in the industry over a number of years in both Victoria and South Australia and has a genuine love for harness racing.

“I wish him well in the next phase of his career.”

Conder has resigned for personal reasons.

Following Conder's departure Nick Murray will assume the Acting Chairman of Stewards role. 

HRV will commence a search for a permanent replacement soon.
