Auckland Reactor.

Former New Zealand superstar Auckland Reactor has a 100 per cent record with his progeny racing in North America.

The son of influential sire Mach Three has been represented by 13 starters in the land of the stars and stripes and all have been winners with 12 in 2:00, 10 in 1:55 and one in 1:50.

As at September 20, 2021, they have amassed $1,115,562 in stakes with an amazing average of $85,812 per starter.

Heading the list of Auckland Reactor’s American brigade is the brilliant racemare Soho Burning Love (1:48.2), the equal fastest Australian-bred mare ever and the winner of $US461,149 to date.

The Great Buzz 1:51.8 ($US136,070), Love The Blues (1:50.6), Thunderfromthethrone (1:50.8), Atomic Blast (1:51.4) and Itz Alldown To Luck (1:51.4) are among NZ stock sired by Auckland Reactor winning in North America.

Another former New Zealander, Smoke N Reactor, won in 1:55.2 at Flamboro Downs, Canada last week and has netted $US71,899 in stakes.

Closer to home, Auckland Reactor sired winners of consecutive races at the recent Gloucester Park midweek meeting in Blue Stone and Im Spiderman, while the three-year-old Johnny Lombo notched his maiden success at his second start at the WA provincials.

In NZ, the talented three-year-old Hooray Henry led in an Auckland Reactor quinella at Cambridge Raceway. The gelding has won four of his 12 starts including three of his last five.

Auckland Reactor is standing his second season at Tony Peacock’s St Fort Stud, Moama, on the NSW-Victoria border.
