Harness racing’s Bathurst Gold Crown Yearling Sale, the source of Group winners Silk Cloud, Four Trumps, Charlaval, Send It, Albert Terrill, Hannah McKenzie, Burrell, Kadoopy, Shoobee Doo, Strong Ambition, Ima Spicey Lombo and many more, will be held at the Bathurst Paceway on Sunday, March 20, starting at 11am.
The sale will also be live streamed on Auctions Plus.
An integral part of the Bathurst Gold Crown Carnival, the sale will be conducted by leading auctioneers Graeme Board & Company.
The sale comprises 64 lots with strong drafts from leading breeders in NSW, Victoria and Tasmania.
Twenty four stallions are represented in the 2022 catalogue, including high profile sires such as Art Major, Captaintreacherous, Sweet Lou, Always B Miki, Rock N Roll Heaven, Sportswriter, Modern Art, Tintin In America, Majestic Son and Father Patrick and emerging sires in Vincent, Downbytheseaside, Bling It On and Volstead.
Yearlings are eligible for the Sales Graduate Pace in 2023, the Bathurst Gold Crown, NSW Breeders Challenge and True Blue, Vicbred and Vicbred Platinum, Vic. Need For Speed, QBred and the Breeders Crown.
