Bathurst yearling sale produces winners

The Bathurst Gold Crown Yearling Sale has been a consistent source of harness racing winners around the country in the last few years.

Undoubtedly the best performed sale graduate has been Our Uncle Sam, the winner of 22 races and $662,176 in stakes and runner-up in the Inter Dominion Grand Final and two Hunter Cups.

Silk Cloud, winner of the recent NSW Pink Bonnet, and Lyrical Genius, who won the Young Derby last Friday, were others sold at the annual auction.

Other winners from the sale include the NSW Breeders Challenge and Simpson Sprint winner Charlaval, Shoobee Doo (Rod Fitzpatrick Memorial), Lockton Luck, Goodtime Stride, Lagoon Stride, Sam’s Express, Meg’s Ferrari (NSW Inter City Pace), Fastestgirlintown and many more.

The 2021 Bathurst Gold Crown Yearling Sale, to be conducted by Graeme Board & Co, will be held on Sunday, March 21 from 11am at the Gold Crown Paceway.
