Stallions on the Haras Des Trotteurs’ sire roster were responsible for 11 winners in Australia and New Zealand in the space of five days!
The haul included a winning treble at the all-trotting meeting at Bendigo on Friday night (December 10) with the Quaker Jet pair Revelstoke and This Quaker and Parisian Artiste (by Love You).
Parisian Artiste outstayed his rivals in the Wagon Apollo 3YO Trotting Mile in a career-best 1:55.5 highlighted by a scintillating 55.9 seconds last half, while Revelstoke led throughout for an effortless win in the Group 3 Graeme Lang 2YO Trotting Mile in 1:59.7, also a new lifetime mark.
Love You was also represented by the two-year-old filly Lindy’s Love (Yarra Valley) and a trio of NZ winners in the three-year-olds Chicago H (Auckland) and Love N The Port (Addington) and Thank You (Manawatu).
Hopeful Beauty (by Brillantissime) and Im Ready Jet (by Quaker Jet) provided Haras Des Trotteurs with the quinella in the Group 3 Maori Miss Free-for-all at Melton. It was Hopeful Beauty’s seventh success in 18 lifetime starts and sent her earnings over the $50,000 mark.
Sonoko’s Son, a three-year-old gelding by Used To Me, became his sire’s 12th individual winner from 22 Australian-bred starters when he emerged successful on debut at Maryborough.
Other stud-sired winners for the week have been Chateaubriant (by Used To Me), a winner in 1:59.5 at Menangle, and Im Hector (by Quaker Jet), who posted his fourth success at Globe Derby Park.
