Twelve months after the return of its cup meeting following a long hiatus, Elmore Harness Racing Club is preparing for its premier day.
Racing returns to Elmore on Boxing Day for the running of the $3500 O’Sullivan’s Elmore Pacing Cup.
Hundreds flocked to Hunter Park last Boxing Day for the first cup meeting run in 11 years.
An eight-race program kicks-off at 1.09pm, with the 2180m cup timed to start at 4.12pm.
The event will include children’s entertainment, including pony rides, a water slide, face-painting and live music from Bendigo blues musician Chris DeAraugo.
Free shuttle buses will operate between Bendigo and Echuca throughout the day, ferrying racegoers safely to and from the track.
