Aldebaran Park bred and sired performers won important races in two different States in November.
Heading the vanguard were the brilliant Aldebaran Eagle USA youngsters Gatesyās Gem and Reoffender. Gatesyās Gem, the second richest two-year-old filly of the season, extended her record to six wins from nine starts when she took out the $20,000 Aldebaran Park 2YO Trotting Mile in 1:58.2 at Bendigo.
Reoffender, a two-year-old gelding, stretched his winning sequence to five with successes in the $20,000 Aldebaran Park Southern Cross and the Parker Classic at Globe Derby Park. He has won six of his seven outings to date.
A pair of Aldebaran Park-breds in Aldebaran Vera (Trixton USA – Kyvalley Aldebaran NZ) and Kyvalley Heist NZ (Muscle Mass USA – U Dream NZ) both saluted in top company last month. The former won twice at Melton in 1:55.2 and 1:56.5 to raise her bankroll to more than $163,000, while the latter captured the 2024 St Arnaud Trotters Cup.
Besides Gatesyās Gem and Reoffender, Aldebaran Eagle USA was represented by the winners That Other Thing (Maryborough), Arena Rock (Kilmore), Lair Of The Eagle 2:00 (Goulburn) and Aldebaran Stiles (Globe Derby Park).
Aldebaran Eagle USA has sired the winners of more than $520,000 in Australia this season.
Champion colonial bred sire Skyvalley NZ led in six individual winners in November including three ānewā winners in the three-year-olds Maximez (Charlton) and Reginaldās Reign (Terang) and Night Sky (Shepparton) and the repeat winners Kyvalleyhoneybunny 1:58.3 (Geelong), My Bad Habits (Globe Derby Park) and Sellune (Pinjarra).
Skyvalley NZ also ranked as the damsire of the winners Majestic Monarch and Silver Spoon.
Skyvalley NZ is equal second on this seasonās winners list in Australia with 37 winners to date and seventh on the money-winning table with $625,000.
Aldebaran Park bred eight individual winners of nine races for November.
The list includes Aldebaran Vera, Kyvalley Heist NZ, Aldebaran Brooke (Southwind Frank USA – Excellent Boko Swe), the Albion Park three-year-old winner Aldebaran Fonz (Majestic Son Ca-Sultry Lady USA), Aldebaran Yahtzee (Sebastian K Swe-Charming Yankee NZ), Aldebaran Stiles (Aldebaran Eagle USA – Sundonna), Lair Of The Eagle (Aldebaran Eagle USA – Never Never Land) and That Other Thing (Aldebaran Eagle USA – Aldebaran Deegan NZ).
The American import Aldebaran Acrux USA (Chapter Seven USA – Model Behavior USA), who is owned by Aldebaran Park, continues to compete with real distinction among the top bracket of mares at Melton. She won in 1:57.1 recently to notch her third success in her adopted country and took her prizemoney to in excess of $77,000.
