Harness racing’s Inter Dominion champion Tiger Tara, who is standing this season at the Medowie Lodge, Newcastle, of leading NSW studmaster Daren Reay, is really stamping his foals.
The beautiful filly pictured below is out of the good Menangle and Albion Park winner Lurah NZ 1:53.6 ($140,878), a close relative of the top flight pacers Elsu, De Lovely, Tintin In America and Motoring Magic.
She is owned by NSW breeder Stuart Doughty.
Tiger Taraās first crop are three-year-olds and include the Bankstown Derby winner King Tiger (1:53.9), the filly Tigerlicious and Tiger Tee. He has sired three winners from only three foals.
Tiger Taraās companion sire at Medowie Lodge is the Art Major horse Follow The Stars, who is enjoying another strong season, particularly with his two and three-year-olds.
The Gloucester Park winners Fly To Fame (2YO) and Path Of Gold (3YO) and Atomicstar, a 1:54.8 winner at Menangle, have been among recent winners sired by Follow The Stars.
