The thrilling harness racing win of the Poster Boy colt Its Confidential in the Group 2 $100,000 Vicbred Super Series 3YO Final at Melton put the icing on the cake on a brilliant month for stallions on the Llowalong Farms’ roster.

A Vicbred champion himself, Poster Boy has cemented his position as this season’s leading colonial bred three-year-old sire with 35 individual winners from 47 starters for $867,655 in stakes.
Soho Tribeca, the WA Pacing Cup and Kilmore Cup winner, was represented by the impressive Tasmanian Golden Slipper winner Soho Tuxedo, the SA Golden Nursery winner Hez So Royal and the Victoria Derby and Vicbred finalist Golden Tribe.
Runner-up to Poster Boy in last season’s first crop sire list, Soho Tribeca has sired 40 two-year-old and three-year-old winners this season and they have earned $818,987.
The exciting first season trotting sire Pastor Stephen has left 11 winners from 15 starters to date including last Friday’s Vicbred Silver winner Hallebesofine and The Preacher, who finished a close second in the Group 1 The Redwood.
Winners sired by Pastor Stephen this week have been African Gala (Albion Park) and the Victorian provincial winners Me And Zac and Pastor Dunbar.
Former USA 2YO Trotting Colt of the Year King Of The North, whose first Australasian crop will be offered at the yearling sales next autumn, has been greatly in demand at this year’s North American sales.
The $1.3 million winning son of the great Walner had 17 head sell at an average of $90,965 at the Lexington Selected Sale including a colt which fetched a whopping $425,000 and a filly at $180,000.
King Of The North also had 39 head sell at an average of $62,154 at the Harrisburg Black Book Sale.
