Captaintreacherous filly demolishes rivals in $150,000 2YO fillies final

Captaintreacherous filly Jewel Melody gave notice she could be the best 2yo harness racing filly in Australia at the moment, with a dazzling display in the APG Record Breaking Gold Bullion Series 32 2YO Fillies Final (Gr1) run tonight at Menangle.

Jewel Melody led with a lap to go in the hands of trainer/driver Bernie Hewitt and blasted clear in the straight, opening up a big gap on her rivals winning easing down by 20 metres in 1:53.4.

Promiseland battled on ok for second, well clear of Most Triumphant in third.
