Captaintreacherous gelding scores in $100,000 Regional Final

Captaintreacherous gelding Gordons Bay has claimed the $100,000 Championship Regional Final tonight (May  20) at Menangle in the hands of harness racing trainer/driver James Rattray.

Rattray confidently blasted the gate with the TAB favourite and kept up a solid clip in front before zipping home the final 800m in a slick 55.0 seconds to win narrowly from Patsy Valentine and driver Cameron Hart.

It was the ninth win for Gordons Bay and took his earning to over $130,000.
