Classy harness racing pacer Catch A Wave (Captaintreacherous) was too good in tonight’s (Dec. 31) Group One $130,000 Vicbred 3YO Colts & Geldings Final at Tabcorp Park Melton.
Driver Kate Gath headed straight for the front from the mobile dispatch and despite a few mid-race attacks won comfortably by 2.8 metres in a smart 1:54.5 mile rate for the 2240m event.
Roarforroscoe finished on well for second and Hot Deal battled on for third.
