Changeover commences new year on a high

Former New Zealand champion Changeover, who enjoyed a banner year in 2023, has started the new year with a bang with harness racing winners in Australia and North America.

Aqua Cruiser started the ball rolling with consecutive wins at Redcliffe, while Nelly Bigtime hoisted a fresh lifetime mark of 1:53.3 scoring at the Menangle midweek meeting.

Lord Zarias NZ, a 1:54.5 winner at Globe Derby Park, and Changingoftheguard (Redcliffe) were other Aussie winners sired by Changeover.

In North America, the In The Pocket horse was represented by Sudden Change NZ, a winner in 1:56.4 at Northfield Park, Ohio, and The Charging Moa NZ (1:59.4), who won at Batavia Downs, New York.

Changeover stands at Burwood Stud on Queensland’s Darling Downs.
