Changeover winners in both hemispheres

Change Of Mind, the richest Australian bred progeny of former New Zealand harness racing superstar Changeover, who stands at Burwood Stud, Queensland, sent his stake earnings over the $220,000 mark when he outstayed his rivals in 1:55.9 at Menangle.

It was the gelding’s 26^th success.

Tiz A Sizzler, a NZ bred son of Changeover, posted his 12^th win from only 24 starts when he overcame a difficult draw and a wide passage to win in 1:55.2 at Albion Park.

Other recent Australian winners sired by Changeover have been Justanextragrand (1:57, Mildura), Rudi Sandel (1:58.2, Globe Derby Park), Just Ralph (1:58.6, Shepparton), Kusanova NZ (1:59.7, Maryborough) and Changeover Girl (2:00, Cobram).

In NZ, Changeover was represented by the 1:58 Addington winner Jazelle and Changearound (Ashburton), while in USA, The Charging Moa NZ scored in 1:54 at Tioga Downs, New York.

Changeover has sired the winners of more than $18.84 million to date.
