Changeover’s seventh million-dollar year at stud

The stock of former New Zealand harness racing champion Changeover, who is standing at Burwood Stud in Queensland, has topped $1 million in stakes earnings for the seven consecutive season.

During the current season his progeny has earned $1,152,801 in Australia, NZ and North America.

All told, Changeover’s stock has banked $16.7 million.

Recent Australian winners by Changeover include the three-year-old Sammy’s Secret, Smooth Overarm NZ (1:54.7), Raani and Whereyagoinbabe.

In NZ, he was represented by the Cambridge Raceway winner Ticking Over, while in North America the Changeover mares La Bella Vita (1:51.8) and Darkershadeofpale NZ (1:52.6) scored at Plainridge Park, Massachusetts and Woodbine Mohawk Park, Ontario respectively.
