Well-bred filly Just Remember Me will have her second Australian start at harness racing’s Menangle track on Tuesday.
The New Zealand three-year-old won her Australian debut at Menangle on January 22 when winning the Raith Memorial in career best time of 1:51.8.
Being aimed at the New South Wales Oaks, with heats for the feature later this month, Just Remember Me will be driven today by Carter Dalgety, who had his first Menangle drives last week and won with Lillies. Click here to view fields.
Dalgety is the son of successful horseman Cran Dalgety who trains Just Remember Me.
By Captaintreacherous, Just Remember Me is a daughter of champion race mare Adore Me who won the 2015 Ladyship Mile at Menangle and ran an Australasian record at that time of 1:47.7.
That record has since been lowered by a male pacer, yet Adore Me remains as the fastest-winning mare seen in the Southern Hemisphere.
