Bathurst filly Silk Cloud will make a racing return at her local track on Wednesday night.
The two-year-old had her last start in the group 1 Breeders Challenge Final at Menangle on October 30 where she finished second in the $150,000 feature to Madrid.
Silk Cloud finished second-placed in her Breeders Challenge heat as well as the semi-final and had her last two starts under the care of leading horsewoman Belinda McCarthy.
Silk Cloud is now back in the care of her original trainer and owner Tony Higgs.
The daughter of Silk Cloud has only had seven starts to date, including victory in the Group 2 Pink Bonnet at her second start and a third in the Group 1 Bathurst Gold Tiara at start four.
This will be only the second time in her career that she has not raced in a futurity or feature event.
