Club Menangle supports Team Teal 2024

Club Menangle is proud to announce the beginning of the 2024 Team Teal harness racing campaign, which is an annual initiative to raise funds for ovarian cancer research and awareness.

The Team Teal campaign is a partnership between WomenCan, the Harness Racing industry in Australia & New Zealand, and Tabcorp whereby female reinswomen race from 1 February until 15 March, to drive awareness throughout the harness racing industry to its supporters and the general public.

Club Menangle, Australia’s premier Harness Racing venue, has chosen to continue its long history of supporting the Team Teal campaign, committing a $200.00 donation for each win achieved by a female driving win and a $200.00 donation for each female training win, throughout the campaign.

Funds raised from the Team Teal campaign will support ANZGOG’s education and prevention program – which aims to bring ovarian cancer survivors into the classroom of medical students to share their lived experiences. It also contributes to the patient referral network, which enables women to have access to cutting edge treatments regardless of where they live.
