Cobbitty ticking along as “Inter” countdown continues

With harness racing’s “big dance” just three nights away, the excitement and anticipation is building.

But there’s no Inter Dominion nerves evident at Cobbitty Equine Farm, the property of New South Wales’ leading stable of Luke and Belinda McCarthy.

The team has an unbelievable four qualifiers in the Pacers’ division, but there’s a sense of “business as usual” for Cobbitty and the undisputed stars of the show, “King” and “Ego”.

King of Swing and Expensive Ego have come through the gruelling series of racing and travel across the State undefeated, and are well and thriving, according to the McCarthys.

It’s been no secret that Luke McCarthy believes King of Swing will be topped off by the tough racing of the series and be at his prime on Saturday night.

But he says all four of the team’s qualifiers are very well and he assesses they will all “get their chance”.
