Comeback pacer wins at Redcliffe

The Changeover entire Tiz A Sizzler NZ made a triumphant return to harness racing at Redcliffe on Monday night (July 4).

Having his first start for 15 months, the six-year-old sat parked throughout before scoring in a photo finish. He clocked a slick 56.3 seconds for the last 800m.

Tiz A Sizzler NZ has won nine of his 18 lifetime starts for $41,000 in stakes.

Changeover sired winners in three different countries in the first week of July.

In Australia, he was represented by Our Friend NZ (Albion Park), Sir Simon (Newcastle), Lillyshelaine (Globe Derby Park), Armarockstar (Central Wheatbelt, WA) and the Redcliffe winners Raani, Tiz A Sizzler NZ and the three-year-old filly Pride And Loud.

The Burwood Stud stallion also sired the Woodbine Mohawk Park, Canada winner Darkershadeofpale NZ (1:53) and the NZ winner Livy Desma (Invercargill).
