The French horse Orlando Vici, one of the Haras Des Trotteurs’ sire roster and who is in second position on the Australian trotting sires premiership with only a dozen starters, was represented by another cup winner in Brandlo Prince during the Easter racing in Victoria.

Brandlo Prince, a member of Orlando Vici’s amazing first crop, overcame a 30 metre handicap to effortlessly win the Warragul Trotters Cup, his 15th success and lifted his stake tally to almost $220,000.

Other recent winners by Orlando Vici have been Adelle NZ (Albion Park), Belltopper Boy (1:59.7, Bendigo) and the three-year-old Shaq The Anvil (Ballarat).

Champion sire Love You sired important winners in three different countries over the holiday weekend.

In Australia, Love You was represented by the brilliant 1:59 Bendigo winner Aroha Koe, Meadowvalley Lover (Kilmore) and Luvaflair (Pinjarra), while in NZ, he sired the winners Con Grazia Love (Cambridge Raceway) and Simone Lindenny (Wyndham).

Jimmy Ferro BR, a German bred son of Love You, recorded the fastest mile in Scandinavia this year when won at the Farjestad track in Sweden in a sharp 1:52.

Village Mystic, a Group 1 winning son of Love You, sired the Addington winner Mystic Max, now the winner of almost $120,000, while The Best Madrik left his third winner from only four foals in NZ in Play Footsie, who scored at Manawatu.
