Brilliant Tintin In America gelding Nerano NZ picked up his second win on the NSW country cups circuit when he blitzed his rivals in the Leeton Pacers Cup on New Year’s Night. He returned a slick 1:56.7 mile rating for the marathon 2582 metres trip, zipping home in 27.9.

A few weeks earlier he took out the Griffith Cup and from eight starts on Australian soil has recorded seven wins and a second.

Tintin In America was also represented by the three-year-old American Bullitt, a winner from a 10 metre handicap at Bunbury.

Reigning NSW Sire of the Year Million Dollar Cam left a pair of NSW provincial winners during the holiday racing in Christian Shannon (1:57.8) and The Girls Have It.

Im So Needy, a four-year-old daughter of Warrawee Needy, became the 20th individual from the world champion’s first crop (47 foals) when she won at Leeton New Year’s night meeting.

Meanwhile, Folsom Prison, a son of former superstar juvenile Lombo Pocket Watch, notched win No. 6 at Bunbury.

Tintin In America, Million Dollar Cam, Warrawee Needy and Lombo Pocket Watch are members of he Yirribee Pacing Stud sire roster at Wagga.
