Delightfulreaction, Auckland Reactor’s second richest daughter, sent her stake earnings beyond the $150,000 plateau when she outfinished her harness racing rivals at Gloucester Park on Friday night (September 4).
After enjoying a saloon passage, the four-year-old mare peeled off a 57.7 seconds final 800 to win by almost a length.
The mile rate for the 2536 metres was 1:58.4.
It was her eleventh lifetime success and boosted her prizemoney to $158,283.

Bred by Mike Howie, Delightfulreaction, a multiple Group placegetter, is out of a Bettor’s Delight mare, Apache Delight.
Accelere, a four-year-old gelding and another from Auckland Reactor’s second crop, posted his first win at his second start on Australian soil at Penrith on Thursday (September 3).
Despite racing without cover, the New Zealand-bred gelding prove too tough, rating 1:55.3 for 1720 metres with the closing 800 in 58.2.
Meanwhile, Jaffa, another ex-Kiwi mare sired by Auckland Reactor, was a very impressive winner in a career-best 1:56 at the Wagga midweek meeting.
