Dextrous Dexter wins $50,000 QBred Final

The three-year-old Dextrous Dexter provided his sire My High Expectations with his first classic harness racing winner when he annexed the $51,000 QBred Trotters Classic at Albion Park on Saturday night (Aug 19).

After settling down third, the black gelding’s winning hopes look forlorn rounding the home turn but, angled down onto the passing lane, he sprinted brilliantly to score by half a length.

DEXTROUS DEXTER REPLAY

It was Dextrous Dexter’s fourth success on end and lifted his stake tally to $56,808.

My High Expectations also provided the minor placegetters Northern Heights (2^nd) and Gait With Grace (3^rd) in the $50,000 2YO Final.

On the same night the Follow The Stars two-year-old Tempt The Stars posted his second win at Northam (WA).
