Ego draws to impress in $300,000 Victoria Cup

The barrier draw for harness racing’s $300,000 Victoria Cup at Melton on Saturday night (Oct. 8) has gone in favour for Sydney pacer Expensive Ego.

Well, for punters anyway, with the Belinda McCarthy-trained entire opening as favourite for the Group 1 after drawing barrier two.

The Emma Stewart-trained Honolua Bay has also received some support from punters opening at $9.50 with TAB Fixed Odds and firming into $7.50 after drawing barrier five but will start from gate four with the removal of the emergency.
