It has been a huge year for West Australian harness racing driver Emily Suvaljko.
She has driven a record amount of winners already this season and topped it all off when snaring her first Group 1 winner at Gloucester Park on Friday night.
The milestone was brought up with the Nathan Turvey-trained Savvy Bromac in the $125,000 Mares Classic.
Turvey is also experiencing his best season to date and this success was his third Group 1 winner.
As for Suvaljko, the 21-year-old has driven 338 winners in her career with 155 of those obtained this season.
She is the second top driver in the west behind Gary Hall Jnr and just last September Suvaljko drove 23 winners in 21 days.
Multiple winners at a meeting is not rare for Suvaljko and she did that on Gloucester Park on Friday when also winning with the Follow The Stars colt Star Of Willoughby and her win with Savvy Bromac will be cherished forever.
Suvaljko led all the way with the Mach Three four-year-old mare in the 2536m feature and rated 1:57.5, winning easily by more than six metres.
