Epic showdown in Hunter Cup as field is revealed

The field for the 2024 SENTrack A G Hunter Cup has been declared ahead of the Grand Circuit harness racing classic at Melton Entertainment Park this Saturday night.

Twenty-one horses were nominated for the $500,000 feature, with Harness Racing Victoria’s field selection panel deciding on the 12 that made the final cut this afternoon.

Queensland megastar Leap To Fame is there as is buzz New Zealand four-year-old Dont Stop Dreaming, while New South Wales is to be represented by last-start Ballarat Pacing Cup champ Kanena Provlima, consistent top-level performer Spirit Of St Louis, Brad Hewitt’s Taipo and Jason Grimson’s Cya Art.

The Victorians include Beyond Delight, Mach Dan, Curly James, Better Eclipse, Catch A Wave and Max Delight.
