Svanosio said his pre-race plan was to hold the lead if possible.Ā
āSheās never come out of the gate in her life as I have been just trying to get her away safely all the time, but tonight from the pole I was keen to get her out in front as I thought that was my best chance of winning,ā Svanosio said.Ā
āShe was able to handle it really well and was able to muster speed and kick through to hold the lead,ā he said.Ā Ā
Svanosio acknowledged the emerging rivalry between his filly and the Jess Tubbs trained Cognati.Ā
āIām hoping we do meet Cognati in some nice races to come in the next couple of months,ā he said.Ā
