Fe Fe’s son part of Yirribee’s APG Sydney stock

Renowned breeding establishment Yirribee Pacing Stud is a constant source for top harness racing performers, with each season’s stock producing its share of winners.

Yirribee and clients have 11 yearlings in the Sydney leg of the sale, with Lot 393 destined to attract its share of attention and bids.

By the ill-fate Rocknroll Hanover, the colt is from one of the best mare produced on this side of the equator – Lombo La Fe Fe.

Rocknroll Hanover is quickly proving his worth as a super sire, with his outstanding son, Yankee Rockstar, capturing last weekend’s Bonanza at Melton.

As for Lombo La Fe Fe, her feats need no introduction!

Not only did Lombo La Fe Fe set the record as Australia’s richest two-year-old filly in 2001/02, she still holds title.

Successful at 26 of her 44 starts, Lombo La Fe Fe captured the Group One APG Final at two and three, Bathurst Gold Tiara, Vicbred Super Series, Queensland Nursery and Australasian Breeders’ Crown.

At stud, Lombo La Fe Fe has two winners from three starters, with Lot 393 her second colt…the mare’s first colt is one of this season’s two-year-olds.

By Troublemaker, Lombo La Fe Fe is from dual Group One winner Lombo La Paree, dam of four winners from four starters.

Along with his inclusion in the APG race series, Lombo La Fe Fe’s magnificent looking colt is also eligible for the Australasian Breeders’ Crown, Bathurst Gold Crown, New South Wales Challenge, Vicbred Super Series.
