Fear The Dragon.

The Fear The Dragon juggernaut continues in North America.

Inherent Resolve (1:55.6) and Fear Abby (1:56.6), a pair of Fear The Dragon two-year-old fillies, won at Hoosier Park, Indiana and Scioto Downs, Ohio respectively this week.

Fear The Dragon, whose frozen semen is available to Australian breeders from Yirribee Pacing Stud, Wagga (NSW), has left 72 starters from his first foal crop of 108 with 23 in 2:00 and six in 1:55 and $609,000 in stake earnings.

Former world champion Warrawee Needy, another member of the Yirribee Stud roster, left winners in three different countries this week.

Flare Up, a two-year-old filly bred and raised by Yirribee, won in a career-best 1:56.8 at Newcastle, Needless To Say scored in 1:52.6 at Harrah’s Philadelphia, while Warrawee Speedy (1:57.6), Reminisce Road and Tilly Dreamcatcher all emerged successful in Canada.

Reigning NSW Sire of the Year Million Dollar Cam was represented by winners at Albury in Camstar Road, Saratoga Raceway, New York in Its Only Rocknroll (1:53) and the Canadian sub 2:00 victors Arrived Late and Doc’s Ronhenry.

Another Snag, a member of Renaissance Man’s first WA crop, notched his sixth success at Northam and has now earned almost $40,000.

Of Renaissance Man’s initial crop of 27 foals, 12 have raced and 10 have been winners.
