A spate of winners in America this week from the first crop of North America Cup winner Fear The Dragon, whose frozen semen is available in Australia from harness racing’s Yirribee Pacing Stud, has sent his progeny earnings beyond the $1 million mark.
His winners included Odds On Capitalism (1:51.6), Pearl Snaps (1:52.2), Type A Personality (1:54), Dragononthebeach (1:55.4) and Spread The Fear (1:58).

The Tintin In America three-year-old Tim’s A Trooper, last season’s NSW Breeders Challenge champion, returned to the winner’s list in a heat of the APG Gold Bullion at Albion Park. It was his fifth success and pushed his earnings over the $160,000 mark.
Another recent Tintin winner was the three-year-old filly Zara’s A Treasure, who scored for the third time at Redcliffe.
Sal’s Glee, a four-year-old mare, became the 22nd winner from the first crop (47 foals) of former world record holder Warrawee Needy when she came from near last to win at her second start at Tamworth. Warrawee Needy has left 33 winners from 58 Australian starters – a 60 per cent strike rate.
Other stud-sired winners have been Pat McGarry 1:53.4 (by Million Dollar Cam) and Songkran 1:56.5 (by Renaissance Man).
