First sub-1:50 credit for Fear The Dragon

Fear The Dragon, the 2017 North America Cup and Adios Stake winner and whose frozen semen is available in Australia from Yirribee Pacing Stud, was credited with his first sub 1:50 performer when the three-year-old Pearl Snaps won a division of the Joe Adamsky at Scioto Downs, Ohio on July 7 in 1:49.8.

The gelding has won seven of his nine starts this season.

Other sons of Fear The Dragon in Odds On Capitalism and Fearful Intent won their Adamsky divisions in 1:51.8 and 1:53 respectively.

Fear The Dragon was also represented by a pair of Buckeye Stallion Series 2YO division winners at Northfield Park in Primary Driver (1:57.2) and the unbeaten Dragon Grad (1:57.8).

Other Fear The Dragon winners for the week were the two-year-old Valley Of Fear (1:55) and the three-year-olds Fear Our Fayth (1:52.4), Dragthechipsmyway (1:52.8), Fear Her Touch (1:55.2), Odds On Veto Power (1:55.2), Fear The Electra (1:55.6) and Fear The Dice (1:57.4).

Fear The Dragon’s two and three-year-olds have banked almost $1 million in 2022.

Tintin In America’s three-year-old son Mahomes made it three for three this season with an end-to-end win at Menangle in 1:55.1 (last 400 in 26.7), while his daughter Lady Jadore sent her earnings over the $100,000 mark at Gloucester Park.

Former world mile record holder Warrawee Needy sired metropolitan winners in Uncle Shank (1:56.1, Albion Park) and Lady Zegna (1:58.7, Gloucester Park) as well as the North American winners Need Ur Opinion (1:52.8) and Warrawee Speedy (1:58.4).
