Fourth Group 1 for Quaker Jet mare

Brilliant five-year-old mare Im Ready Jet is proving a splendid advertisement for the Love You horse Quaker Jet, whose frozen semen is available from Haras Des Trotteurs, Ballarat.

The mare brought up her fourth Group 1 success when she beat a top field in the $50,000 Maori Mile in a career-best 1:55.4 at Bendigo recently. She has now won 15 of her 33 starts for $281,600 in stakes.

La Serena, another from the first crop of Quaker Jet, posted back-to-back successes at Kilmore and Geelong in 1:58.1 and 1:58.2 respectively in the space of six days.

Not to be outdone, Love You led in a trio of winners in New Zealand in the three-year-olds Highgrove (Nelson) and Tony Mac (Wyndham) and the four-year-old Commanchero (Cambridge Raceway).

Chateaubriant, a gelding by Used To Me, made it three for three this season at Goulburn, while Rohaan (by Orlando Vici) was a very impressive winner at Maryborough.

Quaker Jet, Love You, Used To Me and Orlando Vici are all members of the Haras Des Trotteurs sire lineup at Ballarat.
