Franco Totem NZ wins in 1:48.2

The Changeover gelding Franco Totem NZ lowered his lifetime mark to 1:48.2 when he won a $26,000 race at The Meadowlands, New Jersey on Saturday night (September 11).

Franco Totem became the fastest ever progeny of the Burwood Stud flagship , displacing Risk NZ who went 1:48.4 at Hoosier Park, Indiana in 2018.

Changeover was represented by three winners for the week in New Zealand in Honour Before Glory (Addington), Szybka Lane (Ashburton) and Dachy (Wyndham).

On the home front, Changeover winners included the three-year-olds Justanextragrand (Globe Derby Park) and Bullapark Beno (Echuca), Endless (Leeton) and Jonimac (Central Wheatbelt).

Changeover has sired the winners of more than $16.6 million worldwide.
