The Punters Mate launches on SENTrack in Queensland today – showcasing all the excitement and exhilaration of Queensland chasing, pacing and racing every Friday morning 8.30-9.30am.
Hosted by Mark Braybrook and racing expert and form analyst Chris Nelson, the pair will speak with participants of the sport from all three codes – covering all the action from the Cape to the Coast.
Today’s show launches with CEO Racing Queensland Brendan Parnell and leading thoroughbred trainer Tony Gollan.
More than just tips, the show will cover everything making news in racing and across Queensland’s greyhound and harness industries.
It arrives at a boom time in Queensland racing – including the performance of local horses like cult hero Alligator Blood and Everest-contender Rothfire as they head South for the Spring.
SEN CEO Craig Hutchison said the station was right behind the industry in Queensland.
“Racing in Queensland continues to go from strength-to-strength, so we are thrilled to dedicate local programming to support its growth and showcase local racing in all its forms,” Hutchison said.
The Punters Mate, presented by Racing Queensland, will be heard on SENTrack 1053AM Brisbane, 1620AM Gold Coast, 96.9FM Ingham and 99.1FM
Atherton. It can also be heard via the SEN app and across the broader national SENTrack network of 9 stations.
The Punter’s Mate will lead into the day’s racing coverage – which will be jam-packed with previews, analysis, insights and reviews of key races across the country – with plenty of fun and banter for punters.
