Trainer Claire Goble scored an unusual race to race to race treble, Goble won the last race at Globe Derby on Saturday night with Wishing Zone a son of Wishing Stone, and her four-year-old gelding harness racing All The Trix (Trixton) scored a last-to-first win in the open race at Victor Harbor on Easter Sunday.
Then pacer Clarenden Express made it a running treble for Goble winning race two at Victor.
Goble is an exceptionally good trainer of the square gaiter, she has had a lot of success in recent years with the likes of Millys Magic, the SA Derby winner Im Hector, Wishing Zone has now won 6 and All The Trix also has 6 wins to date.
Wishing Zone is royale bred his grandam Maori Acacia (dam of nine winners), by Smooth Fella from Maori Trump (dam of 11 winners), by Overtrick from the dual-gaited mare Maori Miss, whose eight winners included the mighty Maoriās Idol, rated the greatest trotter ever produced in this country.
Maori Miss won the Winona Award for Australian Broodmare of the Year in 1977, 1978 and 1979, while Maori Trump won the title in 1996.
All The Trix is out of Queens Vacation making him a half brother to Im Hector and Balmoral Hall (6 wins to date).
