Harness racing’s $475,400 Goldsmith Maid, for two-year-old trotting fillies run at The Meadowlands on Saturday (Nov. 26), was a triumph for Stallions Australasia as their sires Southwind Frank and Tactical Landing produced the quinella pair, Bond and Mambacita.

Starting from the No 9 gate, the Southwind Frank filly Bond pinged straight to the top and was never afterwards headed. She won by two lengths in 1:54 over Mambacita (Tactical Landing).
Bond has won six races on end and seven from nine lifetime starts for $587,264, making her the third richest of her age, gait and sex in America this year. Mambacita has earned $496,201.
Tactical Landing is the second leading first season sire in 2022 with progeny earnings of $1.86 million.
