Harness Racing New South Wales has provided the latest integrity update for August including decisions on appeals and how many swabs were taken for the month.

Appeal Decision
- 4 August 2021ā Mr Greg Bennett appealed the decision of the HRNSW Licensing Committee to refuse to grant Mr Bennett a stablehandās licence. By decision issued on 12 August, the appeal was dismissed by the NSW Racing Appeals Tribunal.
- 4 August 2021ā Mr Anthony Mabbott appealed the decision of HRNSW Stewards to disqualify him for a period of 9 years in relation to two (2) charges issued pursuant to AHRR 240 and 5 years in relation to a charge issued pursuant to AHRR 243. The appeal was upheld and the disqualification period reduced to 8 years in relation to the AHRR 240 charges. The 5 year disqualification in relation to AHRR 243 remained unchanged. Disqualification periods to be served concurrently and commence from 27 May 2013 the date upon which Mr Mabbott was stood down pursuant to AHRR 183.
