Greg Sugars to be farewelled with memorial service on Monday

On behalf of Jess Tubbs and the Sugars family, Harness Racing Victoria wishes to share details of the upcoming memorial service to honour and celebrate the life of champion horseman, Greg Sugars.

The service will be held on:

Following the memorial service, Greg will be privately cremated. All attendees are warmly invited to remain at the venue and pay their respects at the wake, which will be held in the Legends Room at Melton Entertainment Park.

For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live streamed via thetrots.com.au.

The service will feature heartfelt tributes from Jess Tubbs, James Herbertson, Kylie Sugars and Gavin Smith, who will share personal reflections and honour Greg’s extraordinary contributions to harness racing.

There will also be an opportunity for others in attendance to share their own memories and tributes during the service.

The family kindly asks that, instead of flowers, tributes be made by joining the live stream and honouring Greg’s memory through the sharing of stories and reflections with friends, peers and the wider harness racing community.
