Grimson ready to fire in the Sunshine State

Top Menangle harness racing conditioner Jason Grimson has a strong raid aimed at Queensland’s feature meeting at Albion Park on Saturday night (Jul. 9).

The Group 1-winning horseman has five of his pacers nominated across the card including Ideal Dan (American Ideal) in the $305,000 Rising Sun.

Grimson also has a three-pronged attack in the Group 3 Mr Feelgood Open with his quality pacers Cruz Bromac (Falcon Seelster), I Cast No Shadow (Shadow Play) and Majestic Cruiser (Art Major).

I Cast No Shadow turned heads with a trial performance at Albion Park last week where he rated 1:49.1 – faster than the track record.

While campaigning in the north, Grimson still has a strong team back in NSW and has The Iron Lady (Somebeachsomewhere) engaged at Penrith tonight.

The mare will be driven by Cameron Hart, Grimson’s main stable driver.
