Inter Dominion-winning trainer Jason Grimson will zone in on regional racing on Tuesday.

After experiencing the biggest success of his career on Saturday night, Grimson will race his two-year-old Sugar Apple in a heat of the Breeders Plate at Leeton.

The Sweet Lou colt is undefeated in his two Australian starts, including a personal best victory at Newcastle on December 3 where he rated the mile in 1:53.9.

Sugar Apple has drawn barrier one for the qualifier with one of Riverina’s most successful reinsman Blake Jones to do the driving.

Talented youngster Mister Rea will race in the other Breeders Plate heat.

The Pet Rock colt was undefeated in his first six starts before having an injury-enforced break due to a quarter crack hoof injury.

He had his first start since the setback at Wagga on November 30 where he was beaten by a half-head in a rate of 1:53.6.

As for Grimson, he will still be elated after his success in the $500,000 Inter Dominion Pacing Championship Final at Menangle last Saturday night with Boncel Benjamin.
