Group 3 Silver double

Champion French sire Love You and his son Quaker Jet, both members of the Haras Des Trotteurs’s stallion roster, provided the winners of both Group 3 $20,000 Breeders Crown Silver Trot for trotters at Bendigo recently.

The Group 3 two-year-old proved a triumph for Haras Des Trotteurs with Revelstoke (by Quaker Jet) beating Taimate Sass NZ (by Love You) second and Cravache Dor (By Orlando Vici) third.

Revelstoke, who is out of an Angus Hall mare, has won three of her eight starts to date.

Meanwhile, Amour Maternal, a three-year-old daughter of Love You and the Group 1 winner My Valerie NZ, led throughout in a career-best 1:59.8 to notch her second success.

The talented Orlando Vici mare Adelle, a New Zealand-bred former Sydneysider, came from midfield with a sustained finishing burst to edge out Hopeful Beauty (by Brillantissime) at Melton on Saturday night (November 27).

Adelle clocked a sizzling 57.7 seconds for the last 800 metres with an overall mile rate of 1:59.7 for 2240 metres. She has now won nine races and $73,742 in stakes.
