Fresh from driving nine harness racing winners in the last three days Cameron Hart has some big races on the horizon.

While harness fans are still in awe of two-year-old filly Lux Aeterna’s (Captaintreacherous) record-breaking win in Sunday’s $150,000 Breeders Challenge Final at Menangle, Hart is just as keen on the prospects of two of his winners.
The first of those was three-year-old colt My Ultimate Ronnie, who also won his BC final.
Hart cannot wait to get to Perth’s Gloucester Park to contest their rich Golden Nugget series in coming weeks.
Yet before that he will head for New Zealand next week to chase their biggest race, the New Zealand Cup with another of his big Sunday winners Swayzee.
“He’s put the runs on the board now and he’s just a powerhouse horse,” said Hart.
“He was just outside the track record in winning yesterday and still had something in the bank.
“I’m just glad I’m the one who gets to sit behind him.
“When he’s out in front he can be a little lazy but once you shake him up he gets going.
“He really had them covered and did the job pretty well.
“He’s a fairly quiet horse who doesn’t get stirred up too easily.
“He had a standing start trial the other day and stepped away nicely, so I don’t see that being an issue when he gets to New Zealand.
“I think we have the right horse to go over there and give the Cup a shot, that’s for sure.
“We learned a lot when we went there with Majestic Cruiser.
“It’s a great day to be a part of and since that trip Jason Grimson and I have been working on getting a horse good enough for a return trip.
“I have a lot of faith in this horse and he’s gone to another level since his Blacks A Fake win and I do think he’ll be thereabouts.”
